Participant Information and consent
In order to tackle the current COVID-19 epidemic we urgently require information from the general public. We invite you to take part in the V_HAWK (Virus-Health And Wellbeing checKer) Study.

Are you over 18 years of age?
There is currently no known treatment for COVID-19 and our health systems are struggling. We need to understand how many people have COVID-19 and also what types of treatments are being used. This will help us identify those that are the most/ least effective for COVID-19.
The V-HAWK Study is led by a group of researchers at Anglia Ruskin University, University of York, Ulster University and Queen Mary University of London. The study team are conducting an online research study to provide the information we need to tackle the health challenges that the UK faces including COVID.
Taking part in this survey is completely optional and you should only take part if you are willing to do so. There are no risk or precautions to be taken when participating in this study. If you have any questions, please contact the study team at firstname.lastname@example.org. All information collected from you in relation to this research will be anonymised. Generated reports from this study will include your data but it will not be possible to identify you from the reported data.

All information from your participation in this research will be collected and stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. By consenting to take part in the V-HAWK Study you are agreeing to Anglia Ruskin University processing personal data that you provide for any purpose connected to this study. Once you have consented, information from your submitted survey cannot be withdrawn.
