Purpose of this study
This research seeks to study and further understand consumers’ transition towards sustainable diets and what part meat alternatives can play in this.
The questions have been written with those who eat meat (omnivores) as intended respondents. We expect around 200 people to complete this questionnaire.
This research is being completed as part of a MSc Sustainability at Anglia Ruskin University and is carried out by Scott Grant under the supervision of Dr. Roberto Pasqualino. This research has ethical approval from an ethics committee at Anglia Ruskin University.

Your participation
The survey process should take between fifteen and twenty (15-20) minutes. You will be asked a series of questions, mostly multiple choice but with the opportunity to add more detail if you wish in some places. Your answers will remain anonymous as you will not be asked to provide your name or contact details. Responses to open ended survey questions may be used as quotes, anonymously, in reports.
There is a risk to your confidentiality if what you say makes it possible to identify you in a quote, but attempts will be made to avoid this including removing the names of any people or organisations.
You may withdraw from the research at any point whilst you are completing the survey by closing the browser window. Once you have clicked ‘Finish’ it will no longer be possible to withdraw from the research because your response will be anonymous, and the researcher will not be able to distinguish your response from that of others. Your responses will be securely held on a password protected computer and backed up on an encrypted hard drive.
