Purpose of the study

The purpose of this research study aims to gather information about the referral pathways available to optometrists in their area. We also wish to investigate optometrists experience of using the referral pathways available to them in more detail including, overall experience, ease of use of referral forms/ referral platform, time efficiency, receipt of referrals, outcomes, and any barriers to referral.

Who is the researcher?

Dr Emily Charlesworth is an optometrist and post-doctoral research fellow at Anglia Ruskin University. The study will be supervised by Professor Shahina Pardhan from the Vision and Eye Research Institute at Anglia Ruskin University.

Do I have to take part?

Completing and returning the questionnaire is entirely voluntary. The questionnaire should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Returning the questionnaire will be taken as giving consent for participation in the study.
